1. Rita's Cottage is available for holiday lets for a maximum of two weeks per booking.
2. The tenant agrees to take good care of the property and to leave it in a clean and tidy condition. Contents and furniture, if moved during your stay should be returned to where they were found on entry.
3. Electricity and heating is included in the rental up to the value of £25. Excessive usage beyond this will be billed to the tenant.
4. Whilst all bed linen and bath towels are provided, the tenant must supply their own towels for use on the beach.
5. We regret, for the comfort of all our guests that Rita's Cottage is a non-smoking cottage and also that pets are are not permitted.
6. Please email or telephone to provisionally book the cottage and return the completed and signed booking form within 7 days. The person signing the form must be a member of the group renting the property and be over 18 years of age.
7. A deposit of 25% is required at this stage with the balance being remitted 4 weeks prior to the commencement of your booking.
8. Whilst Travel Insurance is recommended, in the unlikely event of cancellation of your booking, we will endeavour to re-let the property refunding all monies paid less an administrative charge of £50. If re-letting cannot be made then any outstanding balance will become due.
9. Guests are responsible for any breakages/damage to the contents of the property and are responsible for the replacement of any minor items so damaged. In this respect we do not insist on the lodgement of an additional security deposit.
10. In many circumstances normal household insurance policies do not cover guests whilst on holiday. Accordingly we confirm that, as proprietors, Business Comprehensive Insurance is held with a £2 million limit under Public Liability and Products Liability. Nonetheless, guests are entirely responsible for their personal property and belongings.
11. The front door key will be forwarded at least one week prior to your arrival which should not be before 14:00 on that day.
12. The cottage should be vacated by 10:00 with the property being securely locked and the key posted through the letter box for collection by our cleaner.
13. The BBQ must only be used by responsible adults and be over 18 years of age.
14. Guests must respect the local neighbourhood, and cause no disturbances.
